2019年8月、FORTY PERCENT AGAINST RIGHTS (FPAR) は、アメリカ生粋のワークウェアをヨーロッパ企画のカジュアルラインに落とし込む Carhartt Work in Progress (Carhartt WIP) とコラボレートしたエキシビジョンを台北 (台湾) にて開催します。
"SECOND CHANCE" と題したエキシビジョンでは、Carhartt の代表作であるブラウンダック製のアクティブジャケットを新たに創造します。スリフトショップで掘り出したアイテムを解体し再構築することで再生したカスタムワーク、同じく Carhartt のシグネチャーであるポケットTシャツとヴィンテージのTシャツを合体することでリサイクル仕様のアートワークが完成しました。FPAR が1型ずつ丁寧に仕上げた、これらヴィンテージの結晶は1つのピースとして幸運にもセカンドチャンスに恵まれました。
アクティブジャケットとポケットTシャツの展示をはじめ、特別なシルクスクリーンプリントのワークショップを開催する他、イベント限定のスーヴェニアも販売します。

Tokyo based brand, FORTY PERCENT AGAINST RIGHTS (FPAR), presents, “SECOND CHANCE,” a collaborative exhibition with Carhartt Work in Progress (Carhartt WIP) who has evolved as an American workwear brand by adapting a contemporary way of living the workwear legacy, held August 2019 in Taipei, Taiwan.
Entitled, “SECOND CHANCE,” the exhibitions first installment showcases a series of Carhartt's iconic Active Jackets, made of brown duck fabric, reimagined. For the second installment, Carhartt's signature Pocket T-shirts are reimagined by incorporating recycled artwork into these vintage T-shirts.Handpicked vintage clothes from thrift shops are revitalized by deconstruction and reattachment to create custom pieces. The injection of new life to the worn-out classic results in 14 unique art pieces.
Carefully crafted by FPAR, these vintage treasures will come together in one piece and be blessed with a second chance.
Along with the exhibition of recreated Active Jackets and Pocket T-shirts, a special silk-print workshop will be hosted and event-exclusive souvenirs will be available.
